Today is Wear Purple day at Hilltop Elementary. Students were asked to wear purple color shirts representing general cancer awareness.

Cafeteria kitchen manager and cancer survivor, Katie Swift, was the one who organized this lunch for Hilltop.

Wearing Purple: Painting the School Purple day is an observance that helps raise student’s and teacher’s awareness of cancer.

Students were able to listen and watch other classmates get on stage to speak and tell jokes while they were eating delicious food.

A special thank you to Katie Swift for organizing this event.
