Last Thursday, April 16th, several Argyle ISD families gathered at the Hilltop Cafeteria & Gym to play games and practice mathematics at the same time.

Hilltop Elementary Math Specialist, Kendra Swalls, was the person who organized this event so families could have time to bond and help their children to practice math while playing different games.

Some of the games included playing with Lego blocks, coins and marbles.

One popular game was called “Make A Clock,” where the families had to first put the cups they were given in number order (1-12) like a clock’s face, then add the arrows they were given to the clock, and finally, the parents would ask their children to point the arrows at different numbers.
